Bonjour!

Since one of our head honchos, Nic, is French they've decided to do something today to celebrate Bastille Day.

As a result we're all getting coffee (not to Ianto's standard, I'll bet...) and pain au chocolat for morning break.

Shame I already bought myself one in M&S on the way in....*chuckles* I would have bought it in Sainsbury's, where there's an offer of two for eighty pence, but I only had my M&S gift voucher to spend *shrugs*

Hee - I now wish I could read a Torchwood fic about Ianto and his coffee based around Bastille Day!

Okay, so the Bastille Day stuff hasn't finished yet!

There was some sort of competition involving making a model of the Eifel Tower - the one Mark, Dave and Justin put together was very good, if I say so myself. And we had our pastries this morning (I still haven't eaten the one I bought myself, as I'm feeling a little full).

Now, they've just emailed to say that, since they didn't get enough in for the entire company (we're talking about 900+ - the person they called initially put the phone down, apparently!) they're bringing in some cake in a nod to Marie-Antoinette! *laughs*

We'll see if I'm still here when that arrives - and if we get any, since we got the morning's pastries.
