Almost didn't make it into work on time this morning - the buses have been a ightmare lately.
Just had to talk my manager into letting me have tomorrow off work, as Rowan's been coming out in a kind of heat rash all weekend. He does that a lot during the summer, and a course of over-the-counter antihistamine syrup usually solves the problem. But this is the first time I've noticed it over the winter, so I want to get it checked out. After all, the flat's still damp too....
*sighs and rubs eyes* Well, better get ready to do some work. I have choir practise at noon too.
