May. 12th, 2005 12:48 pmWe took a walk yesterday evening to go get a peep at the flat they're offering me.
It's hard to tell what it's like inside as all the windows are boarded up, but it looks like it has potential.
It's a basement flat because Llanedeyrn (the district I live in) is a hilly area. The block is built on the side of the hill, with the flat they've allocated me at the bottom of the small hill, and the next one up on the top. The flats look to take up the entire level, and there're about three others above mine.
The advantage also is that there's a fenced-in patch of grassland around the flat, which Rowan can play in. I expect it's communal, but hey!
I just hope they fix it up quickly!
Been checking my finances, and it could be extremely tight....but I'll work something out, I'm sure. We may have to live on the budget stores-own food for quite some time though, and no little luxuries.
Hell, s'no worse than my own childhood, and I was never unhappy per se.
