Holy... - parte the seconde
May. 11th, 2005 01:55 pmOk, so....post arrived this morning, and there's a letter for me from the Council's housing department.
They have a flat for me!
It's a two-bedroomed basement flat in the estate alongside the one I currently live in. Can't move in till some repairs are done, which gives me a little time to organise, I guess, if I choose to take the place.
So now I'm waiting till I can get out to the postbox to send off the acceptance form to go examine the place, and trying to find out what the situation is regarding rent. They've quoted me a figure, but not stated if it's a weekly/fortnightly/monthly rate, or how often it's payable. I have to call them later to find out.
