No work tomorrow *relief*

Rowan woke up at five this morning, and was in bed before seven tonight. Odds are good he'll be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow....

Gonna be doing a new post on [livejournal.com profile] _robin_'s journal over the weekend, kinda kickstart it back into action after a long absense. So many major things have happened, but they haven't finished yet, so I need to wait till they're resolved - then I'll do some backdated updates, hopefully.

1) Total number of books owned?

Oh gods, lots... A couple of hundred, I'd say. Lots of Sci-fi tv series; Star Trek, Stargate-SG1, Quantum Leap, Star Wars....

2) The last book I bought?

I don't remember for sure....but I think it was 'The Elder Gods' by David Eddings. Bought it in October, and still haven't finished it. I just don't have the concentration at the moment.

3) The last book I read?

I'm currently reading the novelisation of 'Batman: Knightfall' and 'Brother Cadfael's Penance' by Ellis Peters. Been reading them off and on for a couple of months.

Before that, I read a library copy of Elis Peters' 'The Virgin In The Ice'

4) 5 books that mean a lot to me?

A Star Trek novel called 'Ishmael', based in nineteenth century Seattle - not entirely sure why it's such a favourite, but I love it.
'The Virgin In The Ice' and 'Brother Cadfael's Penance' from Elis Peters' 'Brother Cadfael's Cronicles'
'The Color Purple' - just love that book!
'Pawn of Prophecy' by David Eddings - part of the Belgariad series. I love the whole series, including the Mallorean sequel and the later one shots.
