My team manager has been threatening to instigate a swear jar today where, instead of putting money in when you swear, you do so any time you mention football...

One of the guys suggested we do that any time someone mentions insurance instead *chuckles*

Luke's been teasing Dave for supporting England, and Gareth's temporarily moved desks so he can see the tv that's about two meters away from me.

Don't you just love the World Cup? *sarcasm*

I so wish this was the World Series instead.

There was a moment of amusement though, when I came across a policy for a Jeremy Goodwin *grins* Fandom once again brightens my mundane life, if only for a moment...

My response to the world cup? *sassenrassenfrassen* over and over again a la Mutley. Luckily my colleagues are mostly women who don't care and the kids I see aren't capable of explaining whether they like it or not so that lets me off the hook.

We even have competitions set by the Operations Manager and the company-wide 'Ministry of Fun' that are World Cup related. For example, if we hit daily productivity, we get to pick out a sticker for the Ops Manager's sticker book and certain ones win you a prize.

He's basically getting us to fill his book for him, and occasionally giving crappy prizes away in return.
