...can't UK terrestrial tv show baseball at a decent hour?

At the moment, the only time I can watch it is at 1am on a sunday! When I have to go to work the next morning....

I could tape it, I suppose. But that's no guarantee I'd actually watch it.

I really want to get into baseball - I can't stand the sports that get televised here, except for athletics. But the last time I caught a match was a Mariners game five years ago, when I was working nights anyway. And I fell asleep at the bottom of the ninth...*sheepish*

Best I can do right now is follow the scores on MyYahoo - looks like both my teams are losing quite a bit lately. But I really don't know anything about the sport so I don't understand what I'm reading *sigh*

I had to do some research on baseball for the Big Damn Sports Night Tale that I'm writing. I can honestly say... WTF????? Those scores are almost impossible to understand. It's like some secret society. If you haven't been brought up in it since birth then you're stuffed. Learn to fake it, that's what I say.

And one of these days I will actually go see a game at a stadium. The last time I saw a live sports game was when I allowed my uncle to take me to a cricket match when I was about ten. Maybe younger.

Never been so bored in my life...even sunday afternoons watching soccer on the tv with the in-laws didn't seem like quite a waste of my time.
