Maybe it did take me a week to call my grandparents to thank them for my birthday card and cheque.

But what was to stop them calling me to wish me a happy birthday? Why is the onus always on me to call them, when I have a pretty serious telephone phobia and a child who doesn't settle down to sleep till about 8pm. When it's getting too late to go calling people.

Dammit.

I'm still entirely in the wrong though, despite the fact I finally got up enough courage to snark back at them about how they could have called me for a change. *sigh*

Grampy said "Well I don't have your number", and when I responded that Nan does, as she called me here at christmas time, his reply was "Well I don't." Gah!
