The only reason I'm getting away with it is because both Rowan and I are dressed for the day and we don't need to be over at my parents' place for about half an hour. He's playing quite happily while he watches tv and I have a load of washing in the machine, so...

I have heaps to do when I get back. I don't normally get most of it done, so I'm going to make a list of my chores. This may help me focus, as I am terrible at that.

So, here goes...

Living Room;

Hoover

Clear away toys

Put away comics and post strewn all over the dining table

Fold and put away the laundry piling up in the linen basket

Kitchen;

More washing (emptying the basket would be good....)

Dishes

Clean the floor

Clean the surfaces

Clean out litter tray

Empty bin

Bathroom;

Clean surfaces (d'uh!)

Tidy away shampoo bottles and bath toys

Bedroom;

Tidy up Rowan's toys

Hoover

Seems like a lot, though it's fairly easy on days when I actually have the impetus to do it. I hope the weather stays okay so I can get some washing out on the line, rather than the clothes airers I dry everything on at the moment.

Aww know how you feel, Im am soooo bad at housework, and even when I get a rare day off, I just can't be bothered to do any of it!
