If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNoWriMo or RPG setting or what have you, post exactly one sentence from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else. This is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).

I gaped at him, “Now you want to share with me?” I said with an indignant tone, “Now you know you’re not gonna get any?”
Tim Drake, in my currently un-named WiP set in the Bat-verse.

"So this is what Jackson was describing," noted Al, who hadn't left Sam's side since his arrival at the base, "Each of the chevrons - those symbol dohickeys - represent constellations," he explained, "A combination of six, plus the planet's origin symbol, make a Stargate address."
'Fate's Wide Stargate' - a Stargate SG-1/Quantum Leap crossover WiP

...sheesh - it is really hard to find one single interesting sentence....

That second one's possibly too long for a single sentence - but that's how I wrote it, so nerrh! *winks*

Oh, and I adhered to this SOOOOOOO well in mine...

Yeah, don't sweat it! Cool stuff! (I am DYING to know what's going on in the Tim one, and the Stargate one is properly intreging, too.)

Thankee!

The Bat-fic is almost finished, but I'm lacking an action scene that I need to complete it...

The Stargate one has been annoying me for a couple of years now...to write a good Quantum Leap story, you have to have two plots running parallel - an action story and a heart story. All the clues suggest Sam is there to solve the action problem, but then he finds out at the last moment that it was the heart he had to deal with - or sometimes vice versa.

I have the heart story - but I don't have an action plot :-(

...seems to be I have a problem with action plots! *grins*
