Musings...

You know what I've been thinking about all afternoon? Going travelling for the next several months, getting home in time for Rowan and I to start school in September.
I think it's been prompted by the number of policyholders I deal with who've gone travelling and therefore either have had problems with their payments, or were unaware their renewal was due. I wonder how anyone can afford to do that and I wish I could do it myself.
Once September comes, I'm pretty much stuck till Rowan's eighteen 'cause he has to attend school or I'll get fined. Possibly even imprisoned. And holidays during the summer season are very expensive.
He's already at the age when I have to pay for his tickets too - he wasn't even three the time I took him to the US with me and I had to pay quite a hefty air fare just for him.
And he's still talking about it - he constantly talks about wanting to go to 'Meh-kah' by train and plane. I think he's got the same wanderlust gene I have.
Another thing I wonder about is how long that wanderlust lasts - is there a time limit where you've basically missed your opportunity? Or does it always stay with you? Like I said, I'm about to be extremely limited in when I can travel and for how long.
