Musings about chocolate...

As I mentioned earlier, I recieved some sweets in the mail today. Mostly chocolate and peanut stuff! *grins*
It's very wierd how different chocolate is in the UK when compared to the US stuff....
For example, the Twix bar? Tastes nothing at all like the ones I can buy in any corner shop here. And Hershey's milk chocolate reminds me of the cheap chocolate you get in advent calendars and stuff - not enough milk in it, but can't be registered as dark chocolate either.
It reminded me of
chaos_pockets's surprise at how differently Dr Pepper tastes over here (Though personally I prefer our fruitier-tasting version).
When it comes to the generic stuff, like Twix and Snickers, I think I'll stick to the UK version. But at least there's no difference in taste with the Reeses stuff, which has just started to be sold over here too.
Plus I got to try some Tootsie Rolls!
And...'bro, just how eerie is it that you also included a packet of Goldfish!! *dies laughing*
