So it occurs to me that I haven't shared with you guys the pics from last years adventures with the choir at work! Despite my horror at how badly I photograph these days, I wanted to share some with you...

This is from the earliest photo session Andrea and George arranged as part of their promotional material. I was still able to bury myself in the middle of the group back then...

Just prior to our performance at the Cancer Research 'Race For Life' event at Bute Park, Cardiff. I actually quite like this one of me :-)

Andrea and George needed us to demonstrate the benefits of their company to the Welsh Institute of Directors, at the Park Plaza Hotel just down the road from our office. I had been tricked into standing at the front by this time, but I was late getting there and managed to sneak back into the middle... *wink*

So, this is the big event that we were working towards the entire year (the corporate General Meeting? Sorry? *wink*) and mood the whole day was electric. Some people will have already seen these pics as they're up on Facebook.

Rehearsing on the coach. Rowan kept singing along too - thankfully Andrea didn't complain *grin*

On stage during soundcheck. I'd turned away to check a text message from Mel and Will when this pic was taken *facepalm* I wish now that I'd given Rowan my camera so he could take pics from his seat in the front row, but I was very uncertain of what was considered acceptable behaviour - didn't even look at my phone till George assured me it would be okay!

In the dressing room, all ready to go and feeling very nervous! I don't particularly like this picture of me *shudder*

On stage singing our medley!

On stage during the finale - with all the celebrities, including Bryan Adams! See, told you I sang on stage with him! *wink*

Also, there's a clip up on YouTube of the guys at the Cardiff Mardis Gras, doing the Michael Jackson medley we're now rehearsing again for the 2010 General Meeting. I couldn't be there 'cause I was in London for Mel's hen weekend, but I wanted to share it anyway.

The sound and picture is ropey, naturally, as it was taken on someone's camera in the audience, but it apparently sounded really good if you were there. George cringes at even the mere mention of it, but I think she did well in her solo. I would have been in the group dressed in red.

It is! :-D It's honestly the only reason I go to work, and it's so nice that we're now having weekly rehearsals instead of fortnightly.

I don't know what other gigs we're going to get this year, except for the SGM in April - we have to do three performances in one day then; Cardiff, Swansea and Newport! *faints* They say it's going to be an awesome year though, so I can't wait!

We were supposed to do something for the Newport Festival yesterday, as part of the Ryder Cup opening, but that fell through.

That's quite an impressive looking choir you've got there! :-) I didn't realize there were so many of you.

*grins* Yeah, we're quite large, though the numbers of men are dwindling... We barely fit onto the choir stalls they'd set up on the stage at the Albert Hall - we could hardly move!
