I'm goofing off for a few minutes here at the library, so I thought I'd mess around with the Map meme that's going around.

To clarify: Washington - Seattle and Bothell, visiting my wonderful online friends Cathy and Donna; Ohio - visiting alryssa a whole five years ago! *snugs* Miss you, sweetie; California - a weekend convention in LA with alryssa before popping back up to Seattle again; West Virgina & Kentucky - in the car with alryssa and her DH, when they collected us from the airport, so we could cross the tri-state boundaries *grin*; Illinois - a half-hour stop-off at the airport in Chicago on the way home from Seattle the second time. I can count that, right? ;-)

This map makes me look far more travelled than I actually am, so again needs clarification :-)

The British Isles - duh! *laughs* Not been to too many places around here, but I've seen a few.
Spain - coach holiday with thaya_rayal and her family, and a trip to the island of Majorca with my mother, aunt and cousin
Italy - a coach trip organised by my High School
France, Germany, Switzerland & Belgium - you can't get to Spain by coach without going down through France, and similarly you can't get to Italy without going through all the aforementioned countries. I stepped foot in France and Switzerland during scheduled rest stops at motorway service stations, but the rest of the time we were merely driving through.

Right! Spot of lunch, then back to the books!
