So...f-list...

If you had to write a two minute podcast about healthy living, in pretty simple language, what would you discuss? What's the most appropriate way to start and end these things?

I have a Welsh assignment due next Monday (so you wouldn't be writing it for me - unless you can speak Welsh of course, which...hi! You're one of my new best friends! ;-) ) and I have no clue how to write such a thing.

Argh...I am so sticking to English-language academic courses from here on out....languages by correspondance is doing my head in!

Oh, hmm. Off the top of my head:

If you want to have a healthy life, pay attention to what you eat and be sure to exercise. Eating a healthy diet is important. A healthy diet includes [list foods here]. You should not eat too much unhealthy food, such as [list foods here].

Then I'd throw in a few things about exercise, and if I wanted to give the podcast some local color, I'd mention places where you can walk and do some sightseeing, since that can be a cheap exercise plan.

For the conclusion, I'd probably do the ol' "re-work the intro" approach:

So remember: eat a healthy diet and exercise if you want to practice healthy living. [Finish off with some cutesy proverb or perky cheerful signoff.]

Thank you hon, that will definitely help. Now if only I can find the Welsh vocabulary necessary.... ;-)

Hate, hate hate verbal assignments!
