Hah!

One of the managers on my department just had his computer blow up!

Naturally he's not hurt - it just went bang and stopped working. So we're all joking about him causing it to explode because he's actually doing work for a change! ;-)

And two of the IT guys just came straight downstairs to look into the matter - it must be a record!

Now if we could just have a system-wide crash, so we can all have a couple of hours downtime, that'd be cool. :-)

I made an electric typewriter blow up once because I was typing too fast. Sadly, those days are far behind me now.

As long as the building didn't burn down I say everyone came out ahead.

I hit my daily productivity in just under two hours! \O/ This is almost unprecedented!

Dave was pretty amused by the whole experience, really. He ended up working at Ceri's desk for the day, and had to endure comments like "Ceri! I didn't know you were working today - did you lose your hair?" *chuckles*

Holy exploding computers, Batman!

Sorry. I couldn't resist. ;-) I'm glad he's not hurt.

Heee!

Yeah, no-one got hurt. Not sure why the unit went bang - hopefully IT can shed some light on it.
