Picspammage part two

Water, water, everywhere...

The TV & Playstation, in situ.

The TV after ChemDry had removed all the furniture and carpets.

My stuff, dumped on the sofa.

The kitchen

The kitchen the next day

The hallway

Three weeks later, when mould has started to grow... The artex plaster has also now blown, causing bubbles.

My bathroom sink, backing up during the rain and floods.

My neighbour Pat, checking the level of the moat outside. The water came in through both my patio door and the front door, via this security door in the hall outside.

Damaged furniture piled up out on the patio

The wallpaper in my room, where my ugly monstrosity of a wardrobe used to be.

They have one week to come sort this out for me....

I feel guilty now for complaining about my day. You're having a much worse time, and have hardly said anything about it. It really looks awful - I hope the council will do something soon.

Oh hush, sweetheart - never feel guilty for venting after a bad day. *snugs back* Sounds like they were hoping you'd be all grateful for them letting you out early - good on you for not giving them that ;-) I hope they realise what a loss to the company you actually are.

Meanwhile you can get a good amount of rest, so you'll be as refreshed as possible when NuNuJob starts.

We had very heavy rains at the start of September, and the drains outside my flat overflowed - that happens a lot, but this time it was so bad it got to the level of the doors, and I found myself surrounded by an inch of water all the way through the flat.

We've been staying in my parents very small spare room ever since, waiting for the council to repair the damage.

That looks just awful.
