*snugs* I don't think about Christmas shopping till after Rowan's birthday. Though, thanks to the insurance payout, that's nicely sorted out.

I'm planning on using the leave time I have between finishing at Elsevier and starting the new job to do as much Christmas shopping as possible. If my nearest and dearest haven't updated their wish lists, that's their hard luck!

That's a good plan. I wish I could walk away and look for a new job in January, once all the seasonal temp work has finished and they're looking for permanent staff again.
