Poste of Doome - parte the seconde (The Picspam edition)

So I am waaaay overdue with this one! *grins* But I'm working with an aging laptop that seems to want to process everything at a snails pace (I get virtual memory warnings really quickly, when all I'm doing is surfing LJ and checking my email *sighs*) and there have been occasions when I've taken more photos.

But I think I have them all uploaded now, so let's be getting on with it, shall we?

As I said in the first Poste of Doome, Sports Day went off without a hitch this year, with the rain only coming down as we were all packing up to return to the school. Here's a small selection of the pics from that day:

Lining up for a race:

With Cameron and Jamie during the Obstacle race:

Proudly displaying his stickers at the end of the day:

If you want to see the rest of the pictures, they're here

This was held at a country house hotel just outside Thornhill, and again the weather was kind to us. There was an indoor barbeque laid on, bouncy castles, and a football training session.

Rowan in goals! (especially for his godfather! *wink*)

At one point, the youngest of the children in Rowan's group forgot this was football and not rugby! lol!

Surf's Up! (But thankfully without the penguins...)

I took loads of pictures of the football session, which can be found here

There is way to much to show you guys about the day at Legoland, so you really are going to have to look at the sub-album. However, I will post the highlights - the first of which has to be the photo we got of us on the logflume! *laughs*

Rowan dragged his godfather on to a kind of pulley-ride, where you hoist yourself up and down this pole as it rotates. Looked fun, but a lot of hard work!

We then admired the dinosaur making an escape attempt!

Rowan and Will made some buildings in the activity room where you could test their stability during earthquakes:

Mel and Rowan raced cars in the fantastic minature villages:

This is, if I remember rightly, Brighton Pier:

And of course, my fanish soul loved the minature village's designers for these!

It's Torchwood London! Um...I mean, Canary Wharf...

Run, there's a dalek!

But don't worry! The Doctor's on the scene - along with Donna, Martha, Rose, Jack and K-9! Watch out for Davros though!

London Bridge:

The London Eye and Big Ben:

A giant red Dwagin!

A giant green Dwagin!

And finally, Mount Rushmore! *impressed*

Rowan, Sophie, Jamie and Robert alongside the 'Tardis' at the side entrance to the complex:

Jane and Rhian wonder if Captain Jack will let them into the Hub...Sophie's indifferent about it. ;-)

Robert recreates David Tennant's stance at the end of Season Three's finale:

Jamie and Rowan discuss serious business off to one side of the group:

I still can't believe Jamie's a month older than Rowan...

I do have more, but frankly, I'm knackered now! Been at this for forty-five minutes, and that's not including the afternoon spent uploading these things! *laughs* I may do a third, random picspam at some future date.

I absolutely love that little Lego london has a little lego Tardis with Doctor, Companions, and Davros around it.

Also: WOW. What have you been feeding that boy? The legs on him, I swan!

Hee! I know - I was overwhelmed to see it :-)

We really need to go back there - in the space of an afternoon, we saw maybe a third of it. It's definitely somewhere that requires a full day to experience everything.

Also: I KNOW! I sometimes can't believe how a dutte like me helped create my lanky darlin' :-) Of course, the men on all sides of my family tend to be of reasonable height.
