Bonjour!

Since one of our head honchos, Nic, is French they've decided to do something today to celebrate Bastille Day.

As a result we're all getting coffee (not to Ianto's standard, I'll bet...) and pain au chocolat for morning break.

Shame I already bought myself one in M&S on the way in....*chuckles* I would have bought it in Sainsbury's, where there's an offer of two for eighty pence, but I only had my M&S gift voucher to spend *shrugs*

Hee - I now wish I could read a Torchwood fic about Ianto and his coffee based around Bastille Day!

Au reviour, mes amis!

pain au chocolat

Oh yum, pain au chocolat! I nearly bought one for breakfast today, but I can't eat pastries with my temporary crown and had to go for a nice soft muffin instead.

I love pain au chocolat :-) They're doing an offer in Sainsburys; two for eighty pence! The one I bought from Marks & Spencer this morning cost more than that one did.

Sometimes I hate being a greasy American. I have no idea what you're talking about. lol

I'm not sure what this says about my mind, but when you said Bastille Day the first thing that came to mind was the Marquis de Sade. *facepalm*

Hee - I don't entirely know what Bastille Day is all about either, but I think it's something to do with when they ended the Revolution.

There's so much about Welsh culture I don't know, let alone any other country - but that's mostly due to not yet being able to speak Welsh.
