The internet's getting more and more locked down here at work these days, but one place I can still go browse is the Open University's website. My current course is halfway through, and they've started emailing me about my next choices.
I want to do 'Exploring The English Language' next, 'cause I'm starting to explore my fascination with linguistics. But I'd also quite like to do 'Creative Writing' too. Not sure if I can pull that course off though, and while I could do the short level one version as a tester, I can't get financial help for that one so I'd have to fork out the course fee myself :-(
I'm also fascinated by 'Understanding Media' - I did a Media course in tertiary college and loved it.
I'm definitely doing the English Language one, but I wonder if I have the time/concentration power to do one or other (probably not both) of the other two. And which one should I do? I would like to do more than one course at a time, 'cause otherwise it's gonna take me years to complete this flippin' degree!
Ack! Decisions! Do not want!
