Wallace Monument to get upgrade
One day I may actually get to go see the Monument properly. I've only ever been at the base, 'cause the one time I've been in Stirling it was closed! :-p
My grampy often claimed we were descended from William Wallace. While we may well have some vague clan-connections, my Dad's always been a bit skeptical. Grampy was prone to such flights of fantasy, it seems, throughout most of his life ;-)
