"I must go down to the sea again..."

We have some sort of boat-making competition going on here on my floor, so a couple of my colleagues have spent today working on ours (we have to have two as, technically, we're two teams). They've just headed outside on their lunchbreak, intending to go to the fountain outside City Hall to test them out! *chuckles*

Wish I could go watch...

I have twenty-five minutes left of my shift, and I'm currently going through policies changing certain types of call diaries (where a call has been taken from a customer) to history diaries (just basic diary entries) - something to do with our work-quality stats. :-p Fun... I'm being given 'down time' to get it done, since there's no actual work around at the moment - we've been scrabbling for work almost all week. I hate when it gets like this.

After a week of sunshine, it's raining again! And will apparently continue to do so through to Monday. Typical Welsh weather. At least I have little chance of burning myself again this weekend - my shoulder still stings, despite twice daily applications of calamine cream (I managed to locate some, as I couldn't apply the lotion myself and Rowan was no help). I forsee a trip to IKEA on Saturday anyway, as I need new shelves for my glass cabinet to replace the ones I nicked to put in the bookcases. That way I'll be able to put my action figures back on display, instead of in my room - they should be safe from Rowan's friends behind the glass doors, right?

He's playing at a friend's house after school today, so I plan to spend a while in town going round the shops. I love not having to rush.

I meant to ask last night, but is anyone up for a mini Sports Night chat tomorrow night? If not, how about next week? We haven't done one for a little while.

Right, back to work....*snoozes*
