Ah, don't you love it when the system freezes...

I'm working on the theory that every time I start one of these emails to
keep me occupied during 'X-System' moments, it always knocks it awake again
pretty quick....

It's shaping up to be a scorcher today - hazy blue sky and that last bauble
on my thermometer is heading south again.... 24 degrees....*whistles*

....See. Toldja it'd work. Ah well, back to the grindstone.

Looks like we might have storms again tonight

I can already hear rain outside. It rains pretty much every night, at least briefly, but not this early.

Nearly late collecting Rowan tonight. Headed into the comic store as I do every thursday, though I didn't pick up my subscription today, and hung around for a while chatting. My old housemate Tim came in today too, so I was catching up with him especially - he was telling me all about his new job, as there've been a lot of changes within the Civil Service recently. Stuck around so long, discussing JLU and Static Shock with Tim and Alan, who works for Kris, that it was a close thing getting to the Nursery before they closed.

The two of us then popped down the road to Tesco as we're out of bread and cereal. Picked up some chocolate croissants for tea, as well as some new chocolate bars - Dairy Milk with Cadbury's Creme Egg filling! I love Creme Egg, so I couldn't resist trying it. Rowan wasn't impressed though, but then it's a very sickly filling.
