....I hate coming back to work after time off.
Apparently I picked a good week to have off though, as the call centre in India went down for two days. People here were working fourteen hour days to try and do damage control.
I came in to about a hundred and fifty emails or so - most of which were competition emails or error messages about a fax I accidentally sent about six months ago with no fax number....
I have to move desks tomorrow, apparently, as we're getting another supervisor to replace Aaron and so the team's being shifted around slightly. I'm still sat in the aisle though *grump* I'd prefer a window, though at least it's not a middle desk again. I can't stand them.
I'm also wishing I hadn't eaten the last of my Polo mints a few weeks back - I brought in some home-made pasta bolognaise and it's repeating on me. Not even the nummy coconut rings my supervisor shared with me are helping. Add to the mix the cramps in my abdomen and the lack of chocolate...Sammi's not a happy bunny today.
And I have to hope the weather is nice when I leave as I promised Rowan a few minutes in the park before we go home. We were gonna go out yesterday - take his bike and everything - but he refused to pick his Lego and k'nex up off the floor. We had an afternoon of full blown tantrums and he got sent to his room, where he cried himself to sleep for an hour.
That pretty much summed up my weekend, actually. Tantrums and toys not picked up. He is this close to getting his stuff locked in the shed - he knows I'll do it too.
