I shouldn't still be up...

Spent this evening watching DVDs mostly. 'Threesome' and 'Crossworlds', to be exact.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I have a tendancy to obsess about something for a few days, week...whatever. I discover something new, go nuts about it for a while, and then gradually calm down till I'm left with a great deal of fondness for whatever it was I was obsessing over.
My current kick is 'Sports Night', and it's recently focused itself on the two main leads, Josh Charles and Peter Krause. My DVD collection recently gained new additions, in the form of 'Dead Poets Society' (Josh Charles as the adorable Knox Overstreet) and the first season of 'Six Feet Under' (Peter Krause as Nate Fisher).
More and more though, I'm leaning towards Josh Charles. The guy's adorable! *grins* Don't believe me? Then check this out! *happy sigh*
So today I was extra foolish and picked up the DVDs I first mentioned, just because he starred in them. 'Crossworlds' is awesome, and if anyone into sci-fi hasn't seen it I recommend it! 'Threesome' is also very interesting and a lot of fun, though not my normal viewing material. But hell, neither is 'Six Feet Under'!
So tonight has been a Josh Charles movie-fest, stopping halfway through 'Crossworlds' so I could see him in action as Dan Rydell in 'Sports Night' *chuckles* How sad am I....
Yesterday Rowan came home from nursery with a special video that had been made that day - a christmas special, made using a single video camera and blue-screen effects. He's basically sat in a motorised car, and he travels through snow and stuff, having an 'adventure' - the car moves when he's travelling, and then the camera zooms in on him when he's 'not driving'. He was being given instructions to wave at something behind him (usually other drivers, or raindeer, or whatever), then a cartoon 'Santa' comes over and talks to him about being a good boy. He's grinning and nodding dutifully...it's amazing they got him to play along! It's very cute, though my Media training shows through when I watch it and I can't help wincing at points.
*rubs eyes* Right, I really ought to be in bed by now....night all. Hope everyone in the US had a good turkey day, and I will see you all over the weekend!
