My son has finally worked out how to turn my ancient tv on....

Unrelated - it's really quite a freaky thing to open your airing cupboard and find a handful of dollar bills on top of the towels. Even if I did put them there myself.

I was routing through my box on saturday and I noticed my leather wallet I use for trips to America had some white fuzz on it - must have gotten damp. So I cleaned it up, but the paper money felt damp so I figured the best thing was to store them someplace warm to dry out naturally.

Hence, the airing cupboard.

*shakes head* Still pretty unsettling for a moment!

Whose bright idea was it to put so few plug sockets in this sodding house???

I feel awful, so for the first time since I moved in I feel like a cup of tea. So I drained my kettle since the water's probably dusty, refilled it and went to put it on....

I can't. The washing machine's going...

The only spare plug I have is down near the floor on a far wall. So not going there with a toddler in the house. All the other plug sockets - single point ones, I might add - are taken up with my fridge and my freezer.

I'm tired enough of having to share the one plug between my cooker, washing machine, microwave, ice cream maker et al. ...this is the final straw. *grump*

EDT (45 mins later): I now have my cuppa. Gotta wait for it to cool down now, before I can drink it. :-P
