If I'm pretty cranky tomorrow....

....it'll be because I had a disturbed night's sleep.

See, my son's bedroom door has a habit of sticking. And he's not quite strong enough to open it most of the time.

I usually pull it shut just enough that the door sticks to the frame, preventing the cat from sneaking in. But today Rowan has insisted on shutting it tight, and wouldn't let me do anything about it.

So, if he wakes up in the middle of the night and comes looking for me - which he's prone to do - he's gonna find himself trapped in his room.

Which means he's going to get upset and start screaming.
