What the fuck????

Can someone please verify something for me?

The Robin that turned up in the Cafe last night, [livejournal.com profile] _robin_3 - I was reading his journal, and I noticed a bio for him in the first entry.

It's lifted almost word for word from my Watchtower_fans post!

Please tell me I'm seeing things.....

It's awfully similar, but I don't think it's a cut and paste job with a new coat of paint. It's possible it was written by someone who'd read your bio and was using it as a model.

It's extremely close - a few changes in sentence structure here, a little tweaking there to allow for the difference in character continuity...

*sighs*

If it is copied from mine, the least they could have done was ask - I would have said yes....

I'd say it's a definite - the character is a member of the [livejournal.com profile] gotham_hunters community. Sammi's got every right to be pissed off, IMO.

Not denying that. I also have my suspicion that the player is someone who's currently in Watchtower, actually, but that's more based on similarity of writing style than anything like a persona slip or someone telling me that they are. Let me see if my hunch is right?

Well, my hunch was wrong, but the person I thought it was knows who it is, if we need to speak with 'em.

*sighs* I don't think I really want to confront whoever it is - I really don't do well with arguements, so I avoid them where possible.

I just wish this person had asked me - heck, they even used a very similar username.

Some say imitiation's a form of flattery, and I'm normally willing to see it that way. But like I said, I wish they'd asked.
