Technically I have under ten minutes to go before my shift ends. I appear to be on 97% for the day, so I don't need to worry about that - however, I've had a run of bad days this month so I could do with doing better. We're waiting for the work reprint right now, so I have nothing to do at this moment.
Thankfully, since Rowan's playing at Megan's house this afternoon, I don't have to run out of the office at three. So I can stay a little bit longer just to make my productivity up.
I should also work on a little anyway, as I was late yet again *sigh* And once again it wasn't my fault - we got out of the house on time, but the first bus was a no-show and the next two sailed by allegedly too full. So we ended up calling a taxi, since I had enough cash on me, and it arrived five minutes after school started *even bigger sigh* Plus the swine took the long way there, claiming he 'wasn't sure where it was' (isn't that why cabbies have sat-nav now?) and as a result scammed me for an extra quid *growls* Didn't even follow the usual courtesy of rounding the fare down, so I had to pay him £7.10 for the privilege. Rowan was twenty minutes late for school, and I called work to let them know I'd be late, but Personnel never passed the message on. Luckily I was only a few minutes late in the end, and only the other supervisor, Bernie, was there so it was cool. Still gotta watch that or Personnel will be after me. *biggest sigh yet*
What the heck's keeping the work?
Ah well, better go. *hugs Hilary* I just got your comment - that sucks! Hold off and make them pay you, dagnabit!
