gothams3rdrobinWe're having the first nice day in almost a fortnight - and the only one forcasted for the rest of the week, so I'm making the most of my enforced stay at home and getting the large items in my laundry done.
As most of you know, I live in a block of flats with a shared garden - which we also share with the nearest of the other four blocks of flats on this estate. This makes me very reluctant to put my washing out on the rotary line outside my kitchen window when I'm not going to be home. As a result, I have a difficult time getting things line-dried.
I've managed to get four loads done over the course of the day, and it's still a gorgeous, warm afternoon - but my line's no longer getting any sun. The last of the blocks is casting a shadow over it.....
Gonna take hours to get the last of my towels, and the sofa cover, dried now. And they'll probably need finishing off in the tumble dryer anyway.
*huffs about the unfairness of it all*
