There are workmen tearing my house apart and scaring the living daylights out of my cat with their drills....
God I hope this doesn't take too long to get finished.
In good news; Torchwood was very, very good - I loved hearing the Rhondda Valleys accents (more of those than Cardiff accents, but that's not unreasonable since Valleys folk commute here for work) and I really enjoy spotting the locations. Plus the place where Torchwood is located is infact perfectly plausible as that used to be a dock for the coal ships before they started jazzing up the Bay as a tourist spot.
*sighs* I'm gonna be as distracted as hell all week with these strange blokes in my home...

Date: 2006-10-23 11:33 am (UTC)I've never heard of that street where the murder victim was, though - I don't think anywhere in that district has such a distinctly welsh name.
It's a shame my old housemate Tim hasn't got an LJ - he could tell you so much more than me.

Grr!!!
Now if they used the posh cardiff accent and not the Vallys ideas of the Cardiff accent, I would not have minded!!!
(You might guess that the whole accent thing annoys me a tad.)

Date: 2006-10-23 12:10 pm (UTC)However, if you consider how many Valleys people come down to work here it's not unreasonable. Half the people on my department, let alone the whole company, are from Merthyr.
At least the male cop had a Cardiff accent, even if Gwen didn't.
*hugs you*
