Quick pol

Ok so, as some of you know, I've been trying to learn to follow Baseball. I'm a big fan of the Mariners (as much as you can be when you don't know the names of half the players and the last game you saw was six years ago on tv...) as well as the Orioles.

Now, Channel 5 airs baseball games around one am on monday and thursday mornings, which means I have to tape them. Ninety percent of them are Yankees games, and I cannot stand the UK anchor, though the US pundit is cool.

However, there is a channel my cable provider carries called NASN. I presume this stands for North American Sports Network. This station shows baseball games during my evenings, and there's a much bigger range of teams they spotlight. Though I have yet to spot the Mariners or Orioles in their line-up.

My question is, do I pay the extra to add this to my subscription in the near future? Taking into account the fact that, if I'm not mistaken, the baseball season will be over in a couple of months.

Comments? Suggestions?

*chuckles* To be honest? BBC3 & 4 aren't all that spectacular, even if you can catch re-runs of the current series of Doctor Who. Though perhaps people here would be grateful for FOX and ESPN, since Sky Sports mostly seems to show 'soccer'.

If I had a DVD recorder I'd tape the Doctor Who Confidentials for you. But unfortunately I can only use my VCR and when I record the playback onto my PC it degrades and the audio goes out of sync. *sigh*

I could probably get streams through MLB.com, but that might work out more expensive per download than a monthly subscription to NASN. I'll have to look into it.
