Not only is there a dedicated BBC TV channel on digital tv for preschoolers called 'CBeebies' (a variation on the 'Children's BBC' I grew up with, and a baby sister of the - obviously named - CBBC channel) - there's also a radio programme on Radio 7 between 2 and 5 in the afternoon.

At the moment Rowan only knows it's on the computer - otherwise I wouldn't get to listen to The Arrow after work! *chuckles*

Man, the things kids have to entertain themselves with these days!

Okay - Firefox updated itself last night, and the updates installed themselves when I switched the computer on this morning. First page it gave me was the one outlining all the updates, with an arrow for me to click to get to my homepage. So I clicked it.

However, I have my Firefox set up to open two tabs and this time it tried to open both of them in the same page! *shakes head in bemusement* What was interesting was the 404 error page I got as a result:

I'm sorry, you've reached a page that I cannot find. I'm really sorry about this. It's kind of embarassing. Here you are, the user, trying to get to a page on LiveJournal and I can't even serve it to you. What does that say about me? I'm just a webserver. My sole purpose in life is to serve you webpages and I can't even do that! I suck. Please don't be mad, I'll try harder. I promise! Who am I kidding? You're probably all like, "Man, LiveJournal's webserver sucks. It can't even get me where I want to go." I'm really sorry. Maybe it's my CPU...no that's ok...how bout my hard drives? Maybe. Where's my admin? I can't run self-diagnostics on myself. It's so boring in this datacenter. It's the same thing everyday. Oh man, I'm so lonely. I'm really sorry about rambling about myself, I'm selfish. I think I'm going to go cut my ethernet cables. I hope you get to the page you're looking for...goodbye cruel world!

Also, I finally found a few minutes to type out a Torchwood snippett I've had on my mind since Thursday. I'm not convinced its all that good, and I probably forgot a few things, but I wanted to share it anyway.

Right...need to go start lunch and get ready for a day of baking with the rugrat. We already spent friday evening making cakes, ending up with some little chocolate cakes, test-running the chocolate krispie cakes he needs to make next week for the Eisteddfod at school, and a banana cake where I misread the recipie and mashed up too many bananas *grins* Tastes nice enough though!

There's someone parcel-bombing companies/organisations relating to driving; an office in London that deals with the congestion charges, a company somewhere in England that produces speed cameras, and now the DVLA headquarters in Swansea - where they process licences, motoring fines etc.

Someone's obviously gotten caught speeding a few too many times and decided to take revenge. Let's hope he's not holding a similar grudge regarding his car insurance....
