1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, and find line 4.
"Place a wireless camera where you can see who is at your front door on the screen of your PC"
'Home Networking' by Brian Underdahl
2. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What can you touch?
Rowan's Thomas The Tank Engine books
3. What is the last thing you watched on TV?
Something on Channel 5's children's hour, about travelling abroad. It was on while I was waiting for my father-in-law to collect Rowan.
4. Without looking, guess what time it is:
Hmmm...the news just finished on the radio so I'd say about noon.
5. Now look at the clock. What is the actual time?
12.02! :-)
6. With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
U2's 'Beautiful Day' on The Arrow
7. When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
I walked home from my parents house about twenty minutes ago.
8. Before you started this survey, what did you look at?
I read a little bit of the survey on
scrunchy's LJ. Before that I read my email and my FList.
9. What are you wearing?
Aside from the generic underwear, black jeans, a red t'shirt and a brown hoody
10. Did you dream last night?
Yeah...I dreamt Mam called me on my mobile about a house for rent even closer to her place than this flat. She was calling from work and being very vague....
11. When did you last laugh?
Last night, reading a fanfic
12. What is on the walls of the room you are in?
Two different kinds of wallpaper (I really need to get that finished), some artwork (A Beatles picture by one of my best friends and a Stargate SG-1 caricature I got at a convention)
13. Seen anything weird lately?
Nothing springs to mind
14. What do you think of this quiz?
Meh ;-)
15. What is the last film you saw?
Chicken Little, last weekend. I have The Mighty Ducks on DVD to watch, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
16. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?
I'd clear my debts, buy a house and start up my own business. Plus I'd put myself through the Open University correspondance courses in Languages and Web Design.
17. Tell me something about you that I don't know.
Gah - that's a toughy. I could tell you how much debt I'm in...I keep the actual figure quiet ;-)
18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
Make it so that 'Political Correctness' is a thing of the past. People are just so easily offended, or paranoid as hell of offending someone else.
19. Do you like to dance?
Yes! I just can't! lol!
20. George Bush:
Wanker
21. Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her? & 22. Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?
Okay, if Rowan had been a girl I would have called him Natasha Leanne. Next?
23. Would you ever consider living abroad?
Yes! I'd love to. I just worry that I wouldn't be able to cope outside of my own home town, even. I'd love to move to Seattle, but there are so many things I take for granted (decent bus service, the National Health Service...) I'd soon be screwed.
24. What do you want God to say to you when you reach the pearly gates?
Haven't ever thought about it.
25. 4 people who must also do this meme in THEIR journal:
Meh, whoever wants to. I don't bother to tag other people.
