My scalp is dayglo orange!

I had my hair dyed again today - a mix of red and golden blonde. But it's left my scalp the same colour as a highlighter pen! *laughs* I've been dabbing at it with a cotton wool bud to try and sort it out a little.

Tonight I've managed to get a little rp done at the jla_watchtower while I watch my mother's tape of Hairspray! It's a cringe-worthy movie, but hey! Josh Charles is in it!

I spotted Josh the first second he came on screen, and I've been grinning like a fool every time I've seen him since. *chuckles* He does the dances really well, but sounded really different when he got to say his one line. Maybe his voice was breaking?

Anyone know how to make iconage out of video clips? 'Cause I can't figure it out.

I'm also trying to find a Sports Night fic I read a few months back. It had Dan and Casey doing a guest-presenting spot for MTV or something, from Miami and they mention Six Pence None The Richer's 'Kiss Me'.

Wish I could remember what it was called....

Aw. I love Hairspray, what's not to like? It's very stylised, but that's John Waters for you.

I had to Wayback for it, but I think it ought to work. Someone was asking on the (pretty much dead) Yahoo group about that author's 'Mad' series - a fic that has the distinction of once having been anti-recced by a friend of mine - and I managed to find it somehow or other, as one does, and then checked out the rest of her fic. (I don't think she's all that great myself, but in SN fandom, beggars can't be choosers.)

Wish I'd seen the VH-1 show, though!
