Well, it's entirely possible the vet was wrong with their 'guesstimation' - it's not a precise science!
My mother said that a LOT of parcels and mail vanished into the Postal Oblivion during that mess of a snowstorm you had. I'm kind of glad I hadn't mailed anything home :/
