The interwebs have been fixed! \O/

Although....it may have been entirely my fault. *embarrassed*

It looks like I've had the wrong adaptor plugged into the cable modem for the last year, and it waited till now to complain about it. All the guy from Virgin did was change the plug, et viola! my interwebs is back!

In fairness, when I see cut cables outside, with what I've experienced over the last year, what conclusions do you reasonably expect me to come to?

So... do I set up the new router I bought, thinking that was the problem, or do I attempt to take it back to Argos despite having opened it up already?
