I can haz shiny new toy!

Went into Barry to visit my Nan this afternoon, as it was her birthday last weekend. She was absolutely thrilled with the necklace I gave her - apparently Tigers Eye is her favourite gemstone! \O/ It was calling to me for a reason!

As we were leaving, she told me that the Nintendo DSi she and my uncle had promised to get me for Christmas was already downstairs and did I want to take it home now? I tried to refuse - since, yknow, it's meant to be my christmas present - but she kept pressing, claiming she wanted to get it 'out of the house' (IJDK...) so I ended up bringing it home with me!!

Rowan's a little jealous, despite the fact this means he gets full custody of my DS - except when I'm playing Guitar Hero, of course, as they haven't yet designed a DSi compatible GamePak for that. I had a go at accessing the internet, and managed to take a quick looksee at LJ and Facebook - it doesn't quite have enough memory to deal with Facebook though, perhaps the site's just got too much going on. Ah well :-)

So woot! New toy! Which I need to keep as far out of Rowan's radar as I can. :-)
