How to drive a seven year old bonkers 101
Mar. 26th, 2009 09:58 pmSet up the laptop in the kitchen and have the practise MP3s for your singing group on 'repeat-all' while washing the dishes.... ;-)
I don't think my TV's ever been turned up quite that loud *laughs* I think I was at it for about an hour, too!
It's something I need to do though, since one peice we're doing - Queen's 'Somebody To Love' \O/ - is in FIVE PART HARMONY and is hard as hell. And up till this week we've only had a rehearsal every fortnight, so getting our heads around it has been problematic. Plus I'm an Alto, and we have to try and remember our parts with the guys singing either the tune or their own harmony on one side and the two soprano groups on the other!
It's fun though!
Had one of the better days I've had so far this week, since I had singing to look forward to and Rowan behaved at school today. Plus we got given Easter eggs at work today - I got three, 'cause there was no point giving me the bottle of wine! Gotta work again tomorrow though, since I had to take Tuesday off :-(
