Seven day weekend/Up all night....
Feb. 19th, 2008 10:07 pmFirst day back at work today after Rowan's half term holiday. Could have gone worse, I suppose.
I have plenty of stuff to talk about, relating to the last week, and photos to share, but meh. I'm in an apathetic place right now.
(Could the two and sixes kindly refrain from pointing out the fact that's status normal for me? Thank you.)
Spent the vast majority of yesterday reading John Barrowman's autobiography - started reading it while in the waiting area of the council offices, and finished it in bed around midnight. Very, very entertaining, very honest read, with practically none of the backchat about other celebs that is all the rage in these types of books. This is very heartening. Am now slowly working my way through Brian May's biography, which I happened to also spot in Borders at the same time, damn their eyes! It's by the same woman who wrote the biography on Queen as a whole, so the early part about his childhood is pretty much a reprint of his section in that. Looking forward to the fresh material.
