*twiddles thumbs*
Apr. 27th, 2007 04:43 pmJust dropped Rowan off at gym-class, having been advised that I was not allowed to stay and watch. By my son.
So now I have an hour to kill, and no-one to do so with. Neither Lucy nor Isaac wanted to go to the class tonight, and Isaac's mum's working late anyway. I could go sit in Starbucks with a book borrowed from the library (which is where I am now, btw, as it's right next door to the community centre), and I have to admit I'd love to as I'm starving. But I'm also broke.
Yep. Broke on pay-day. Welcome to my life.
I spent the day at the council office and the bank, doing some more towards sorting my rent out after my change of hours. My monthly rent's dropped by about £170, thank goodness, but not in time for me to prevent this month's payment going out. So not only am I having to cope with the drop in my wages, but I'm also paying 100% more rent than I need to *winces* I'm wondering if they'll agree to refund me the difference....
No, probably not.
Plus I had to go get my Stargate magazines from the newsagent - Mam's already had one call from them as I'm behind in collecting them. So that's nearly £40 I couldn't spare gone...
Le sigh
At least I don't need to go shopping this weekend. Did that on Wednesday.
Forty-five minutes to go...may go to Starbucks anyway, cheer myself up.
