But Maaam! Do I 'ave to go t'skool??
Dec. 18th, 2006 07:33 pmSo here we are again - it's tutorial night...
I have to attend this one, 'cause I skipped the last one. I am so never doing this online-tutorial thing ever again - it's got me as jumpy as I am on the telephone!
Doesn't help that I've been so turned around by the birthday/Christmas prep that I've not touched my text books for about a month...*sigh*
Before I forget; thank you Annony Mouse for my parcel of prezzies for my profile page. I'd rather be able to thank you in person, though.
Thank you to Carol for these beautiful flowers - the girls on Reception at work were interrogating me, in the hopes I was finally seeing someone! But unfortunately it seems the only people who buy me flowers are my Mam and Carol! *laughs* Diolch yn fawr, fy nghariad!
Thank you Hilary for the lovely Christmas card! *is touched* I owe you an email-response, but I'm on the wrong computer right now *sighs*
I've made some progress in my own Christmas shopping this week; Rowan and I spent almost an hour at the Post Office this evening mailing some cards and parcels - one of which has been sitting on my printer for the last year! *facepalms* I haven't met the deadline for international post, but they will at least arrive soon! (Carol, I have something specific in mind for you that I can't complete till after Christmas, so yours will be a little late.)
Mam got my Christmas present on Saturday at the school fayre; an artist's impression of the school building. *grins* May not seem much to anyone else, but that was my Primary School as well as Rowan's, and it's the only one I actually enjoyed attending. I don't remember enough about the year I spent at the Infant School on Barry Island (other than playing the part of a marigold), and high school was hell. So the picture of the school is something I will cherish.
Torchwood was good again last night - they seriously like emotionally torturing Jack though, don't they. And exactly how much money are they paying Owen if he lives there??? *mind-boggles*
Meh - ten minutes till 'class' begins....better go.
