It's easy to forget just how nice something as simple as cheese on toast can be...

So I'm trading the guy in the red serge for the guy in red and blue underwear! *grins* At least temporarily.

ITV2 are showing season one of Lois & Clark/The Adventures of Superman. Now, as much as I have a very high regard for dear Christopher Reeve, it's my personal opinion that Dean Cain was a fantastic choice in the role. Both his Superman and his Clark Kent had real character and dimension and I really enjoyed the series. Up until it did a Moonlighting and went downhill once Lois and Clark got together...I mean, seriously, was it necessary to begin and end every single episode with our two lovebirds up to something in bed? Much as I love romance stories, that seemed a bit much.

They also did very good casting of Perry and Lex in this show, though their second choice for Jimmy was better than the original.

Ah well...hopefully I'll be able to watch the new Superman movie sometime soon.
