Something told me I shouldn't have gone out today...
My Mam decided to take a trip up to see my aunt and uncle in Brecon today as it's Aunty Anne's birthday on wednesday. I was a little reluctant to tag along, but I went anyway figuring I need to get back into the swing of things. Plus I haven't seen my boy since thursday afternoon.
So what arrived while I was out? Yep, that's right, Pamela's parcel! *facepalms*
So now I have to call the Delivery Office on monday to get them to deliver it to my local Post Office, which will probably mean I can collect it on wednesday. Hopefully tuesday.
But on the upside, at least it made it to Cardiff quickly and, I presume, safely! I think next weekend's high-tide again too, so I'll no doubt be wearing my brand new baseball cap to the beach! *grin*
I kinda wish I had stayed home, as I've been feeling slightly out of it and quite sore. Plus Rowan's been acting up all afternoon - it's a combination of boredom on his part, me feeling out of sorts and therefore not prepared to deal with him, and Mam having had enough after looking after him for two days. So it's been a stressful day. He's been naughty enough that I'm not letting him watch Doctor Who this evening, so I need to go get him ready for bed now....
