(no subject)

The gas fitter turned up this morning to fix my hot water *relief* It's the
same guy they've sent out the last three times, so we're on quite friendly
terms. He's promised to chase up my new boiler system that should have been
installed last summer, again.

So, as you can imagine, I plan to have a nice long soak in a hot bath at
some point this evening.

The rest of the morning has gone fairly well so far too - Rowan and I didn't
argue once while we were getting ready to go out, and the bus turned up on
time so I managed get to work on time today.

We're all going over the road to the bar at three this afternoon for a meal
- a thank you from the Operations Manager for the others on my team helping
out on the phones last week. The menu's regrettably limited, but I don't
mind - I get to have some scampi! *grins*

I was supposed to be getting my hair coloured after work, but you can't pass
up a meal, can you? It's been rescheduled to tomorrow afternoon now.
