OMG I am sore....
Dec. 21st, 2005 09:18 pmFinished work at three thirty this afternoon and headed straight out into the shops to try and get my christmas shopping done....
Iesu Grist....
I approached it as well as I could - I got on with it and refused to let myself get stressed by the sheer number of other people in any given store.
Four hours later, I had all Rowan's presents, and gifts for my two youngest neices. And my feet were killing me. I had so many bags they were cutting into my hands and there was no way I could have coped with going home on the bus, so I called my mother and pleaded nicely for her to come get me.
I'll now have to spend an hour and a bit after work the next couple of nights, trying to get the rest of my shopping done before I collect Rowan from nursery. Joy...
In other news, Rowan's Nativity play went very well - he said his line really clearly and behaved himself the whole time. I was extremely proud of him.
My own little 'performance' is scheduled for tomorrow - the landlords of our building have graciously agreed to let Bethan, Laura, Zoe and myself (Yep, there're only four of us left...) carol-sing in the foyer for half an hour *snerk* How kind of them...
Right...I'm gonna go soak in the bath for a few 'cause I am all achy and sweaty.
