*Breathes a sigh of relief...*
Dec. 13th, 2004 10:51 pmA smidge of normality is on its way back into my life...
Rugrat's birthday has been and gone, and the carol concert was tonight, so no more giving up my lunch-hours a couple of times a week to rehearse.
Well - except for our encore performance in the office foyer one day next week *grins*
I can now spend my lunch hours running around town like a headless chicken, catching up on my christmas shopping and spending money I don't have.
The performance went really well - our last rehearsal was really positive, for a change, so we were all in a good mood. And we drew the biggest crowd, I think! Our Managing Director was there, with her partner and baby son, loads of staff, and even the CEO of the entire company turned out to listen. One of the Sales supervisors dressed up as the mascot for the brand I work for - and the little 'un was fasinated with him! I had to get him to apologise though, when he bopped Dave on the nose! *snigger* I'll have to apologise to him in the morning, though I know he won't be offended - I dressed up like that once, for another job, and some little gobshite decided it would be fun to push me from behind. Considering I'm only five-one in height, and the costume was designed to accomodate anyone up to six-five, this is not a pleasant experience.
So...just got to get through Christmas - then we have a whole new year to make a mess of! *laughs*
I'm looking forward to what we come up with for the game over christmas *bounces with anticipation*
