Yikes...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7171292.stm

I used to watch this guy when I was a kid, when he was that Max Headroom-type presenter for Scratchy & Co., and Rowan loved SMarteenies....

I want to believe this had nothing to do with him, I really do. *sighs* I didn't think much of him when he was stupid old Scratchy, but the last couple of years he's impressed me with the way he gets art across to pre-schoolers as well as young kids. Who needs Neil Bucannan?

I don't normally talk about news items, 'cause getting on a soapbox about current affairs is not something I'm comfortable doing in my blog. Otherwise you'd all be intimately aware of my very strong opinions over little Madeline McCann....

Now you have me curious about your opinions on Madeleine McCann, a name I really had hoped never to hear again.

You never can tell what people will do. Britney Spears has finally gone completely insane, apparently. If even being famous can't save your life, what can?!

*sighs* It's hard to get across exactly how I feel. I truly, truly hope she's still alive and unharmed, but at this late date I seriously doubt it. Regardless, I think some serious action should be taken against her parents; who in their right mind leaves three children under four asleep in a holiday apartment bedroom while they go to a restaurant down the street? And they were apparently only going to check on them every half an hour? How long were they gone?

I don't know enough information about the case to even try to speculate whether Maddy was taken by paedophiles or gypsies, accidentally killed/murdered by her parents, or what. But what they did was neglect, and I worry about the little twins.

Sorry you asked? ;-) As for Britney *rolls her eyes* She seems to be bringing this all on herself. Those poor little boys.

Nah, I think that's how pretty much anyone with half a brain (or more) feels.

Britney seems to have genuine mental problems, so I'm sorry for her on that account - I hope she can get the medication she needs. Not that I actually care one way or another about her, but I don't like to see anyone suffer. Hopefully her kids will be taken care of, and not by Britney's mother!

Totally *nods* I'm not sure about Federline, whether he's a suitable parent for the boys, but Mrs Spears doesn't seem to be any better now does she?
