Today's my Mam's birthday as well, and she's spending it with my boy as I have to work today *grumbles* But at least I don't have to work again till Thursday next week!
They've taken the train over to Swansea this morning, as Mam wants to show Rowan off at that branch of her full-time employers :-p Gives me the chance to go get her a proper present after work, as opposed to the little fruitcake Rowan chose for her on Christmas Eve (which was appropriately appreciated this morning but, y'know. Can't leave it at that.)
I also get to go spend my Christmas cash without rugrat tagging along *grins* I forsee some CDs in my future, possibly a DVD or two.
